Virginia Septic Tools - Contains the following two tools for use with Virginia Department of Health Septic System Regulations

1) The "Virginia On-site Septic System Evaluation Decision Support System" (VA_On-site 1.0) Microsoft Access® database for data entry and decision support. Funded project with USDA-NRCS. Version 1.0 released in June 30, 2005. Includes User's Guide and report.

2) The "Virginia Regional Septic System Evaluation Tool" (VA_Septic 1.0) for use with the USDA-NRCS Soil Data Viewer® and Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc.® ArcView 3.x Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software products. Version 1.0 released in June 30, 2005. Includes User's Guide and report.


SSURGO (Soil Survey Geographic Data Base) Ver 2.x - Contains a User's Guide for the USDA-NRCS digital soil survey product

1) A stand-alone electronic SSURGO 2.x user's guide.
2) Background information about SSURGO and STATSGO.


Hydric Soils - Publications for help in using the Field Indicators of Hydric Soils of the U.S. and in delineating wetlands

1) A set of charts for using the latest version 5.x of the Field Indicators of Hydric Soils of the United States.
2) Field Indicators of Hydric Soils in the Mid-Atlantic United States (01/2005)
