Black Dermosol

Thanks for the reply, I have looked at the ASC and other classifications (FAO, GSG, WRB) However they are under different names such as chernozem. I'm mainly searching journal articles and books. A good book is "Australian Soils and Landscapes: (google books). Most of the information is located from Department of Primary industires Victoria < vicotira being the only place Black Dermosols are located. I would like to know what information was drawn upon apart from personal experience to classify soils in the ASC, however CSIRO has nothing. I might have to resort to writing a report that takes into consideration "chochlate soils, prairie soils, and chernozems. Any infotmation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Callum
